Some time ago when I was still in Hong Kong, I used to get myself in a short trip every weekend, bringing my camera. I looked for lower-profile places to make sure I won’t bump into crowds.

I used to live in Tuen Mun, the western part of entire Hong Kong, and my job was in the southern part. It normally took me around 1.5 hours on bus to return home during nightfall. Passing the highway every night alongside a harbour, I had the sunset accompanying my journey if I was lucky enough. I was always amazed by the change of colors, from orange to red, purple to blue. Hidden Gem

After returning from Rottnest Island, I decided to stay in Fremantle, instead of driving 30 mins back home (it’s not a long way, just being lazy~).
“Hidden Gem” is the official name the owners titled. The reason behind is that this independent 2-storey house situated behind the major townhouse where the owners live in, unnoticeable from the outside street. Besides, I guess no one will deny it as a little gem after entering.
After meeting the owners, I walked through the corridor to arrived at this hidden gem. However, this is a private gate for later in & out.

I had lived in Brisbane for 4 months. And the stay at Evolution Apartments was a short 3D2N getaway from my hectic work life.
It is the South Bank area I am addicted to with its museumsssss, theater, artificial beach and the free cruise across rivers. That’s why I aimed at getting a room facing the river with my limited budget, so I can enjoy the night view of this favorite part of the city.
